Animal Vision

Animal Vision is a film made in collaboration with ZSL London Zoo and Musion systems who create 3D holographic projections for the stage. The work is an
exploration of perception within species, including our own, and questions conventional categorisation of the senses. It will provide viewers with the experience/illusion of seeing the world through the eyes of various animals. I will focus on several species, including birds, fish, reptiles and mammals to examine and explain their vision and use animation and manipulation to create visualisations of what the world looks like to wild animals, demonstrating the fascinating diversity of how animals navigate their world. The 3D technology is a perfect medium for this installation which will be installed at London Zoo.

I am collaborating with various zoologists across the country to produce the work to ensure that it is based on latest theories. Collaborating directly with scientists is exciting and important as I can tap into the initial experimental stage of their investigations, explore research usually hidden from public view and develop my own system of inquiry.
